A technical day to understand all the issues surrounding low carbon industrial heat

The scientific team, made up of experts from the ALLICE alliance and CETIAT, will carefully select the presentations that will highlight the day. Priority will be given to those that highlight the replicability of the projects, the investment required and the results obtained, in order to present best practices that can be applied to a wide range of industrial sites.

On the programme:

  • Renewable and low-carbon heat: which means of production for which temperature levels and processes?
  • Optimising heat use: what can regulation and automation do? What role can digital technology play?
  • Heat recovery projects of all sizes: from a few hundred tonnes saved to tens of thousands.

Feedback from established manufacturers!

Recovery of waste heat from glass furnace gases

How do you save 2,500 tonnes of CO2 a year in a sector that accounts for 3% of French industrial emissions? Owens Corning Vetrotec (OCV) and CORETEC will present a €1 million project that paid for itself in 3 years and reduced the site's CO2 emissions by 7% compared to 2018.

Use of heat from the kiln fumes to preheat the air in the pendulum mill in the roof tile and brick sector.

TERREAL and Cleia will present the project at the Chagny site, which has reduced CO2 emissions by 15%.

We would like to thank our partners for their support:
